NAPLEX Passing Rates for Pharmacy Schools (2023–2025)
The National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) has released updated NAPLEX pass rate data for graduates of ACPE-accredited pharmacy programs. The latest report includes comprehensive exam results for the 2023, 2024, and 2025 graduating classes.
Across all accredited pharmacy programs, the performance metrics are as follows:
- 2023 Graduates: The first-time pass rate was 76.4% , with an all-attempt pass rate of 71.2%
- 2024 Graduates: The first-time pass rate was 75.9% , while the all-attempt pass rate reached 72.2%.
- 2025 Graduates: Performance increased significantly, showing a first-time pass rate of 86.8% and an all-attempt pass rate of 85.6%
The average first-time pass rate across more than 140 pharmacy schools was 75.5% for 2023, 74.3% for 2024, and 85.7% for the 2025 class. Notably, the number of graduates taking the exam has continued to decline. In 2025, 9,869 graduates took the NAPLEX for the first time, compared to 12,305 in 2023.
