Employment Type: Part timeShift: Rotating Shift Description: Mercy Fitzgerald, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team! Employment Type: Part time Shift: PRN/Pool schedule based on departmental needs. Rotating will be hours scheduled by manager and determined by the needs of the department and hospital census. Job Description Summary: Under the supervision of the Pharmacy Director and according to the established procedures of the pharmacy department, the pharmacist provides clinical support and distributive services in coordination with all levels of hospital personnel in order to achieve quality, safe and cost-effective drug therapy for our patients. The pharmacist will give direction to technicians and interns as necessary for the purpose of completing all tasks in the delivery of patient care in accordance with hospital pharmacy. All registered pharmacists will ensure that all medications dispensed to patients will receive a final check from a registered pharmacist, as written in the policies and procedures. The purpose is delivery of quality care commensurate with the age of the patient population for the said designated area. (i.e.. neonate through geriatrics).
