Job Description Provides medication management services in coordination with other health care professionals to deliver safe, appropriate, and cost-effective medication therapy to patients. Responsibilities may include assessment of medication therapy regimens, medication therapy management, medication order verification/entry, medication distribution, medication therapy monitoring, and consultation, documentation of medication therapy plans, and medication use education and pharmaceutical care services. Participates in collaborative practice and/or protocol-driven practice as appropriate. Additionally, pharmacists are active members in quality improvement, research activities, and education as described in the job specific competencies. Specifically, this is a research pharmacist position within the Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center. This position works with clinical research personnel and stakeholders both internal and external in an effort to build, launch, and maintain clinical trials.
